Why dropping, shaking, or moving your amp can be bad….unless it is made well

Kirkwood (upstairs amps here) was trouble shooting an intermittent problem and this is what he found.  If you look close you can see the cracks around the solder terminal separating the component from the circuit.  He said this is an all too common problem.           We also see this from time to time on guitar pots where there is a little crack between the terminal and wire or capacitor.  This can come from moving the parts, or not heating the parts with even heat (heat the part not the solder) before the solder has cooled creating a “cold” solder joint or simply not using enough solder to make it strong.
